Carole Miller

Director of Operations, Owner

Carole helped establish Forethought Investment Group, a registered investment advisory firm, with her husband Todd Miller. She is pleased to have a company that can offer clients a more comprehensive approach to their income and investment strategies for retirement.

Carole has an in-depth knowledge of business operations and has over twenty-five years of business management experience. Her extensive background in business administration has been instrumental in the development and focus of the company. Prior to helping establish Forethought Investment Group, Carole also worked as an Administrative Consultant with her own firm, and was in the Real Estate Investment & Management and Corporate Housing industries. She has held positions as a Business Consultant, Vice-President and Designated Broker for national Real Estate Investment firms, and District Manager with an International Corporate Housing company overseeing operations in Arizona and New Mexico.

Carole holds a B.S. with honors in Business Administration from the W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. She is an Iowa native and moved to Arizona in 1985 where she and her husband raised their two children.

Jeffrey Strike

Investment Advisor Representative, CCO

Jeffrey offers a wealth of experience to his clients and the Forethought Investments team in Mesa, Arizona. Prior to becoming an Investment Advisor Representative, he worked as a Life Insurance Producer and has had his life insurance license since 1994. From 1994 to 2008, Jeffrey owned his own Independent Insurance Agency in Oregon. In 2007, Jeffrey obtained his Securities registration, and in 2009 became a Financial Advisor. Since becoming a fiduciary, Jeffrey has worked diligently with clients to help them achieve a balanced approach to their financial portfolio that includes investment opportunities, retirement income plans and life insurance.

Jeffrey is an Alaska native but after years of dark, cold winters he decided to relocate, and enjoys the sunshiny days in Arizona. He has two adult children and one grandchild, and when not assisting clients he enjoys exploring new places, golf, and spending time with family and friends.

Christine McCafferty

Investment Advisor Representative

Christine has been in the investment business for over 30 years, and believes that every single client has specific objectives that should be indentified when assisting them as an individual or with their business. She does not believe in a “one size fits all” approach, and takes the time to find out each client’s investment goals and needs. Christine also believes clients come first and works toward doing the right thing, and doing it right the first time. She prides herself in providing unparalleled client service. “I take clients where I find them”, meaning extremely conservative clients’ need a selection of conservative choices. Christine is extremely proud to be serving client families for fourth and fifth generations, and has assisted them from retirement income accounts to setting up college accounts for newborns. Early in her career, Christine worked in the research department of General Motors Proving Grounds in Milford, Michigan, and she has incorporated her research analyst skills into providing clients with well thought-out, personally tailored investment plans.

Christine moved to Prescott Arizona from Michigan with her husband Tim Roberts, the Chief Information Officer at the Yavapai Regional Medical Center. In her free time she enjoys being involved in community service, supports animal rescue shelters, homeless shelters, and is an active member of Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Lola Zazueta

Administrative Assistant

Lola is an integral part of the Prescott branch office and assists with day-to-day activities as well as supports the sales team. She has over 14 years of office and Small Business management experience, and is committed to Customer Service excellence. With her administrative skills and efficiency, she is able to effectively serve clients’ needs as well as provide top-notch administrative support to our licensed representatives. She is a friendly, highly organized and an independent self-starter, and is always willing to take on any assignment given to her.

Prior to joining our team Lola worked as an Office Manager/Administrator for the school district where she managed a variety of large-scale projects; assisting the Principal with budgeting, organizing school activities, enrolling students and data entry of student attendance. She has also been an Office Manager for a Paint & Design company handling the functions of Human Resources/payroll, bookkeeping, customer service and development of company Safety Procedures.

Lola holds a B.S. Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and certifications in HR Management and Supervision from UCSB. She moved from Santa Barbara, California in 2005 and resides in Prescott, Arizona.

Erin Sershen

Administrative Assistant

Erin has fifteen years of administrative and customer service experience with an extensive background in executive assistance for managers and business owners. She understands the importance of providing consistent, superior administrative support and plays a key role in the day-to-day business operations. Erin is also focused on superior customer service and is committed to delivering excellence to every client. Her focus on building strong client relationships is reflected in her attention to detail, and she continually strives for excellence in her position. She is highly organized, confident and extremely proficient in handling customer requests. Erin is a Michigan native and moved to Arizona in 2004 where she resides with her husband and family.
